Every Tuesday and Thursday, all students at Heartland participate in the Fruit of the Day program. The program provides all students with either a fresh fruit or vegetable twice a week. The fruits are offered in class, with information from the cafeteria about the day's fruit or vegetable. The FFVP program is provided through a grant from the Utah State Office of Education.
